Lavender Cookies 1/2 cup unsalted butter 2 eggs (local chickens) 2 teaspoons baking powder 1-2 teaspoons dried lavender blossoms 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 1/2 cup flour Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter & sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, vanilla, and lavender. Mix well. Combine flour and baking powder and stir into lavender mixture until blended. Drop by teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 6-8 minutes until very lightly browned on edges. Cool cookies on sheet for a minute or two before removing. Enjoy alone or with vanilla ice cream or tea.
